Recorded Wind Speeds for Cuba

#1 Postby Valkhorn » Fri Jul 08, 2005 2:24 am

Just keeping tabs of the highest wind speeds recorded in some places of Cuba:

Camaguey Ignacio - 46mph g67
Guantanimo bay - 40mph g54
Santiago de Cuba - 58mph g81

Those are the only three stations I could find that kept tabs during Dennis so far, and were close enough to see noticeable effects.

Still all of these were probably a good 100 miles or more away from Niquiero, which probably saw the full brunt of the storm.

I hope those guys are allright.
