Serious question...

I know there me already be a thread but...

I have studied the maps the last 24 hrs, and as far as the Bermuda high protecting FL. Is it getting stronger, weakening, or staying the same. I just cant get a good read on it. And please only respond if you really think you have an idea. Not a guess or "wishcast". Thanks

I see the ridge extending from the Bahamas over to central florida and north to the carolinas.

All cloud flow in Eastern Gulf and over penisula is to the north, outflow is flattend to the NE of Dennis, but not to the North. IMO FL is not protected from the ridge. I see PCB, FL Sunday evening.

See on that map It looks like it is retreating slighty to the north. Is that what you are reading. 1st time I saw that image seems quite clear. Thanks

I think the trough is supposed to slowly lift out allowing the high to slowly build back in. So what your seeing may just be temporary, as the models show it's going to maintain itself. It does look like the Hurricane can be pulled in near the Tampa area, but that may be gone by the time the Hurricane get in that general area. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
