The same area where Ivan made landfall is now asked to leave once again. From what my parents have told me, the lines for gas are extremely long and people are obeying the orders. So the good news is that people are listening to emergency officials.

Thats true, people seem to be staying calm, but lines for gas are massive around here. Luckily I got my tank filled this morning. My neighborhood is in a Cat 4 evac zone but I heard from Escambia/Santa Rosa eoc that evacs will be in place for anyone in the cat1-4 zone. So i'll be on my way out tomorrow, not going to far...just to Downtown Pensacola.
