Not surprised. The 11 a.m. Discussion mentioned a slight easterly movement eventually. Guess those models will have to realign?

I'm a little skeptical its NNW yet. I'm looking at radar loops and seeing a more NW trend maybe, but I wouldnt call it NNW for another hour or so of the same thing.

I have seen no evidence of a NNW movement. Still looks to be moving 310-315.

I don't think its NNW yet. Maybe straight NW. I'll let the recon fixes tell me, I won't quibble over the sat images as every one else is.

Between the last two VORTEX positions at 1111Z and 14:59Z, motion was 325 degrees.

It's NW but as close to NNW as you can be without it being NNW. It's more N than W movement now.

Dennis looks to be moving between NW and NNW to me. It could be temporary considering how much this storm has a tendency to wobble.....MGC

I see that it has wobbled some more towards the N but that is probably because it is is rapid strengthening mode. I would think a more NW track should resume shortly (I hope).

Is this a surprise? Will the tracks shift East?
