The very heavy rain in the SE

Is that huge area of rain in the SE related to Dennis? It looks as if its moving like an outflow band but its so far away from Dennis that i dont know?

Indirectly.

It is moisture from Dennis that caused storms to form with the afternoon heating.

It was SWELTERING here today before that. 94 before the clouds came in... heat index well over 100.
