Louisiana ~ Tropical Storm Warning! Grand Isle eastward..

#1 Postby crazycajuncane » Sat Jul 09, 2005 7:26 pm

Just saw the scroller on ABC Channel 4 in Lafayette. A Tropical Storm warning has been issued from Grande Isle eastward to the mouth of the mississippi i believe.

The weekend met said at 6 pm that we have been spared! All the sudden they are saying the 10 pm news will have the chief met Rob Perillo on??

Looks like he must be concerned. Things are changing by the minute.

What an interesting evening.

I wonder why they making a big deal of it now. Was it always a warning or a watch before? I'm just curious. I've not noticed it on the local news.
Sorry guys.

Yeah its been there all day but local media have been ignoring it. They only discuss impacts to FLA. There has been virtually no mention of any bad weather in La. until late today.
