Who do YOU know named Emily?

#1 Postby Swimdude » Sun Jul 10, 2005 10:00 pm

All righty, based on the real-life Emily's in your life, what will the storm, Emily, be like? Does she have a nice, sweet personality? Did you date her? [How many times?] Or was she a serial killer, managing to escape captivity for 23 years? Did she live in Flordia? Anyway, let's hear about the Emily's in YOUR life, and how much you'll have teasing them in the next week or two! :D

"My" Emily is a friend from last year and the year before... Sophomore and Junior year of high school. She's a wonderful Christian; and is all-in-all a great friend. That is, of course, until she had emotional issues... And it all went downhill from there. She started dating a good friend of mine, which naturally made things worse for her. She's excellent at staying out of situations that she's not involved in. Hence, I predict the following...

Cat. 2

Fish. [She wouldn't hurt a fly.]

[Again, based completely on the personality of my real-life Emily.]

So!

Let's hear about YOUR Emily!

I've known a couple that come to mind.

1) was a friend in college. Great, sweet, girl...good Christian, great values and morals....wouldn't hurt a fly.

2) was a 6th grader I taught a couple of years ago. Very nice girl, but was a devil if ya got her mad LOL

SO, based on my 2, our little Emily-to-be could be a nice little storm and go out to the fishies, OR, she could come pay someone a visit....no tellin'

Emily was my g-g-grandmother. She survived the Sherman march through Georgia and was one determined brave lady.

As far as Emily goes... I know quite a few good Emilys... she should be nice...

Also... everyone forgot how Dennis the Menace turns out to be not such a bad kid in the end of the movie. Maybe that's why Dennis didn't do as much damage as everyone expected???

My mother-in-laws name was Emily. She passed away 3 years aog suddenly at the age of 50. My husband said if that thing comes anywhere near us (we are on the NE coast of FL) we are getting the hell out. She was a great lady but hell on wheels.

The Emily I knew was a sweet baby then turned into a hot-headed little girl. She then turned into a very rebelious teen who got into a LOT of trouble and broke her families heart. So I HOPE this Emily will NOT be like the Emily I knew!

I know a little girl named emily, can have a mean temper, but is all around nice, when she want's too.

Based on this here's what Emily would be, if she was in charge of the hurricane:

Cat. 4- Sorry folks

Hitting Florida- Really sorry on that one, she dosn't like disney world, so that's why. :(

the one that got away

#18 Postby magwitch » Sun Jul 10, 2005 10:16 pm

my emily was a ridiculously gorgeous young woman who worked out a lot at my old gym back in boulder. she was sweet, charming, very clever, and she first approached me with very kind words. i tried to get to know her, but i was away on business a lot. one day -- which i later found out was the last day she was there -- she tried to approach me, but i was busy hamming it up with a couple other girls. she moved from that gym to another and i haven't seen to her since. i still regret it.

this clearly means she'll be a beautiful storm with an awesome eye that slips away into the ocean just a little too soon.

The only Emily I knew was very sweet and very promiscuous, a FL gal.

I'll leave it to you all to figure out what that might mean.
