Buzzsaw Structure

#1 Postby Sanibel » Thu Jul 14, 2005 7:24 pm

Emily is obviously continuing to intensify with a clear eye now and tightly circular CDO. The outflow is feather perfect in ideal non-shear.

The storm is now doing what I call "buzzsawing".

I would not want to be on the receiving end of this because it stands a good chance of going to the highest ranges in intensity.

From what I am seeing Emily is keeping in a low-track near 280 degrees heading. This is mostly west and brings a Yucatan landfall into greater probability.

The forward speed strikes me as fast.

Sucks to live in South Texas. But then again, we heard "sucks to live in Florida" for over a year.

Good luck to all you folks there. We pray and wish the best for you....

Outflow on the west looks healthier.
