Tropical wave just off SE Florida Coast?

See rain approaching on local radar but a lot of it is dissipating as it gets near land.

Check out the spin in this Infra Red Sat image.

Looks like more than just showers on a sea breeze t ome. Appears to be some circulation. Might be a rain out for Saturday....

If this is a wave and it was able to approach....could that mean a weakness in the high pressure that's been blocking storms?

I watched those all last night, only a few made it ashore, and by morning it mostly dissipated.
