Watch ST Haitang from Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau

#1 Postby PurdueWx80 » Sat Jul 16, 2005 1:36 pm

Taiwan has an oustanding weather service known as the Central Weather Bureau - got to visit it last summer and it is top-of-the-line! Their website is in Taiwanese and English - http://www.cwb.gov.tw/V4e/index.htm

You can watch Haitang approach the island over the next few days from satellite and radar. Check it out!

I think it exists if over 60% of the population speaks it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiwanese_language

To be honest, I don't know if the main site is in Taiwanese or Mandarin, but I can't read either so it really doesn't matter. :)
