With the NHC suggesting both areas have potential for
development AND the NHC suggesting the SW Carib disturbance
being in the BOC in 2 to 3 days AND both BAMD and BAMM models
forcasting a treck of 90L across FL and into the Middle GOM...
Possible 2 storms in the GOM fighting for air supremacy... YIKES
I would have to think that "if" this were to occur... they would
likely beat each other up... minimal development...
WOW though!
GOM X 2 ??

>>This has happened before with Edouard and Fay in 2002. Fay was much larger than Edouard and sheared him to death......eventually Edouard got absorbed into Fay's circulation.
I was downtown while we were getting a feeder band from Fay, and BAM, the rain came down in buckets. I went back to a long IR loop and saw that it was some remants of Edouard that had gotten entrained. We got like 3" in < an hour.

The NW carib is getting more and more interesting. I know the "axis" might be over central America but it's hard to ignore the comma like signature the convection over water is taking. If it hasn't poofed by tonight we might just have development in the NW carib. as opposed to the BOC. I'm shocked at how much the tropics have heated up in 1 1/2 days!

I agree, the comma feature is becoming very pronounced. Much like 90L last night. Secondly, the outflow is looking like 90L on yesterday. Twins!!!!!
