This is my thoughts also, she is bombing out. ERC is probably happening, further explaining the thoughts of others that she is "turning" INTO the outflow of the ridge to her north. She (in my belief) is intesifying and getting the northern wobble as always. She will continue W if not back to a WSW for some time to come. I still think she will drop below 84N before too long.

cheers,

I've also noticed her expanding a bit, is she expanding as well?

Run IR Color, 12 hours, and click Gulf. Not only will you see she's a hair south of her 12 hour previous position but you can see the effects of the dry air (substinance sp?) coming in and working itself through. I think that's why she was looking a little ragged. HankFrank think it will work out again and maybe entrain a bit more tonight before generally improving Sunday through Monday.

She's growing in size, the pressure is falling. That "ragged" look is called getting ready to intensify in the next few hours. Be sure....she isn't weakening.

That dry air is just another indication of how strong the Ridge is.
