And the northward movement has begun.

The latest satillite imagery clearly shows a WNW movement in the last few frames. I would call this a wobble, but given how much of a turn she is supposed to make I'm gonna have to guess this is the official "turn". Or at least the end of the southerly movement.

Please change this title....there's no evidence of it yet. Don't call it a turn until after a few frames, not just one.

Seeing as I said northward MOVEMENT in the title, instead of "THE TURN", my topic title is completely valid. Wobble or not, she made a northerly movement. It's 100% true.

Yea...but you said "has begun". Nothing has "begun". It's been this way, with the exception of the southerly motion, all night long.

Maybe you need to refresh your loop, Steve Lyons just drew a LINE and it was WNW.

The storms motion can best be described as a regular troichadal movement at 265 degrees. This explains the occasional WNW and WSW wobbles. It has not made a turn yet away from this.

I think there are about 15 threads created in the last 6 hours with "northerly" or "turn" in the title. You could have always just contributed to one of them.

That said, the NHC has Kat moving west at 7 mph in their 11 am update. Perhaps you would like to take your "wobbly" case up with them???

Oh this is just ridiculous....the NHC says west and we're supposed to believe Steve Lyon's line?

Believe me....the last place I want my info from is TWC.

First of all, the NHC advisory is typed sometime around 9:35 central for the 10AM advisory. The movement had not yet begun at that point. Also, if you take the NHC's word for everything, I feel sorry for you.

Its all wobbles right now. Still fairly consistently west with occasional WSW and WNW wobbles. The "turn", one could argue, is happening, but at a snail's pace. At least we've made it from WSW average to W. Still a ways to go though before getting any true north movement.

Wow, I would consider that a bash of NHC. Not something you do around here.

Wow, do you not know what a satillite is? NHC, TWC, everybody uses it. Like I already said, NHC's advisory was out before the movement begun.

this topic is silly, just look at the latitude of the last few advisories. There is a northerly component. Also, the NHC did mention in the discussion that it is moving at 275 degrees which is north of due west.
