From Az. to y'all in New Orleans or ANYWHERE along the coast

Living in Arizona for most of my 46 yrs. I've only experienced one 'cane back in 1976, believe it was Hurricane Debbie, I was coming back from a Med. Cruise aboard the USS America CV 66, we had to detour AROUND the cane, never saw a carrier ROCK and ROLL like that before.

I cannot even conceive what it will be like for y'all......PLEASE take care!!

I had someone awhile back comment on the wildfires we have out west here, "How can you live with threat of fires every year?" WELL........I have cleared my property of ANY and ALL debris etc........I can save my home from a wildfire, NOT a hurricane.

Once again, PLEASE take care and know that y'all are covered in my prayers!!

Although I'm thinking that I'm going to be safe here in Southwest/Southcentral LA I do thank you for your considerate thoughts and prayers. Louisiana is going to need them.

Thanks az. The thoughts and prayers mean a lot to everyone. It doesn't matter if it hits New Orleans or points east or west, within 72 hours many lives will have undergone major alterations and transformations. If I could have Godly powers for a little while, I would make sure that everyone just did his or her best in the aftermath to be as cooperative and helpful as possible. It's gonna be rough for some and let's hope things smooth out as soon as possible.

Thanks for your concern. I will look forward to your snow reports in a few months.

Our family made our first trip out west this summer in the dry hairblower type heat. We visited Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. Arizona is a really beautiful state and we look forward to returning.
