Fox News showed this, boatloads heeding the waring. Never watching a traffic has made me happy except today.

Thank God they are listening. My thoughts and prayers are with all of these people. It is going to be a sad few days.

I thought in some case of evacuation from hurricanes they turn all the lanes of the motorway/road ways one way only ie exiting the area. I was surprised by the webcam that this has happened in the case of Katrin yet! The worse case senior is that people are stuck in traffic jams! Katrin is a huge hurricane not just in strength but in size and the current cone showing predict hit is huge! Be interesting to see if the governor acts differently! I heard that whe Katrin was going to hit Florida certain states had declared a state of emergency if I remember correctly (please correct me if wrong). I am just anxious that action hasn't been taken earlier!

I have been reading other websites and people are talking about catastrophic flooding killing many thousands unless the get out now. Obviously people do love to exaggerate and scaremonger! But given the size of Mississippi Delta I just hope the evacuation notice wasn't too late!
