Sofla ?

#1 Postby jlauderdal » Sun Aug 28, 2005 11:00 am

So there was an army of power trucks here but did anyone in sofla see an army of relief supplies yesterday. Friday I can understand but there were two official spots in Broward yesterday and the dade ones were way SW and that doesn't seem like massive response. My power is back on today and i am able to afford hotels roms which i did for three nights so my sufering was minimal at best but I am a bit surprised there wasn't a bigger response for those stuck at home. Good Luck to the Northern Gulf coast. Cat 1 had a huge effect here so a 4/5 will be much worse, obviousely. Once the power poles go down you are talking months for restoration in some areas.
