USART's and DMATS mobilizing

#1 Postby Downdraft » Sun Aug 28, 2005 12:58 pm

Area USAR and DMAT teams are being alerted and mobilized even here in Florida. The word is you might not be coming home for a COUPLE OF MONTHS. The FEMA models for casualties in a storm of this magnitude are absolutely mind numbing. We've talked about this one coming for years and now it's finally here. History in the making and a storm that will change the face of the the Gulf Coast for years and years to come.

No this is all pre-planning at the moment. Offical requests would have to come from Louisana or FEMA. Guys here though are packed and waiting.
