Unofficial Hurricane Names

#1 Postby milwaukeebrian » Mon Aug 29, 2005 7:09 pm

Before hurricanes had "official" names, they were designated after they caused major damage (i.e. Labor Day, or Long Island Express). I was thinking about possible names some recent storms may have gotten if they did not have names, for example, the "Gulf Coast Hurricane of 2005."

What unofficial monikers do you think would some other recent canes gotten?
