Wow, the structure is excellent still. Its rare to see this. Most of the time the structure falls apart. Looks almost like a ghost. Kind of sad to see. Bye Katrina :cry: .

Its strange, even a bit philisophical in a way, how, if TD10 had become a tropical storm, it probably would have ended up getting harmlessly pulled northward. Its lack of developement at first made it the worst system since Andrew.

Crazy that it still has the classic cane shape. Most die and turn comma shaped.

Im sure it does. Was a huge storm. Will take longer to weaken.

Katrina's epitaph.... The storm that wouldn't die....

What is the record duration for existing hurricane/tropical storms once they've made landfall? Seems Katrina has kept her strenght and tropical classification for an extremely long time even over land.
