Right now it looks terrible for Naha...

Korea should watch out, I remember Maemi was extremely bad, they're not as used to prepare for typhoons as China, Japan or Taiwan.

That's true. I have always been amazed at how calm my wife's family in Taiwan are whenever there is a big typhoon bearing down on them. Living in (mostly) reinforced concrete houses probably helps a lot. My father-in-law built his house with 3 times the normal amount of rebar.
