Very cool. And you can actually see the wind speed and the highest so far, a great cam. Glad it is still up and running, a good sign so far.

That's the first live cam I've seen that is actually streaming video - perhaps one day they'll include sound - it would be awesome to hear the waves crashing...

When I posted at 3:30 it was working great. But now it's still giving me the readings,wind, temp., max wind, ect. But no picture. Hummmm, I would say the power got knocked out, but why would it still be giving me the readings? Strange. Maybe the wind knocked it over and killed the visual part but the readings are still working. Who knows. Odd.

This one was just up and it is recording 76 mph sustained with gusts to 96 mph!!! It is at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse.
