NOGAPS Too Fast...But North

#1 Postby MWatkins » Sun Sep 18, 2005 11:29 pm

The NOGAPS solution through 36 hours is well north/east of the 12Z model at the same V-time.

Versus:

I would love to show you the GFS guidance...but for some reason there are problems with the NCEP site. FNMOC is also showing as of 12Z....not sure what the problem is there and I am too tired/lazy to search for some sort of NCEP notice...

The CMC (gulp...that's 2 CMC references in 2 days...sorry) is in close agreement but a bit slower:

Those seem north of the NHC track, or is it me?
