I've been holding off on making any calls, but here it goes. Rita will skirt pennisula as a cat 1 (75KTS), then pick up a little forward speed and strengthen to a borderline cat 2/3 and keep an overall heading of WNW to eventually NW and make landfall as at cat 2 near Buras LA. Following the current GFDL but a little east of there. It will not be an earth shaker like Katrina, IMO.
