has been very, very persistent. Beginning to wonder about that area:

yes, it has been persistent. Where is it heading?

As October nears, you and people in the GOM and S. Florida should pay close attention to the SW Carribean.

Any time a large area of tropical convection spends any significant amount of time over water, it bears watching.

yea been watching that area too. To be honest, so much to watch its easy to forget what might be going on elsewhere. Not even sure what is out there in the Atlantic belt.

...and don't look now, but there's a huge area of moisture covering a big portion of middle Africa.

It's been flaring up almost every day for 2 weeks this time of year there's almost always a low down there, partly due to the ITCZ.

I can see it now. We are going to need the tropic police out in the GOM directing the tropic storms to different locations to prevent them hitting each other. I can see it now!
