not according to the NHC 8am advisory.

DOPPLER RADAR DATA...SATELLITE PRESENTATION AND PRESSURE FALLS FROM
THE RECONNAISSANCE AIRCRAFT INDICATE THAT RITA HAS REACHED CATEGORY
ONE HURRICANE STRENGTH ON THE SAFFIR/SIMPSON HURRICANE SCALE. THIS
WILL BE REFLECTED ON THE 11 AM...1500Z ADVISORY.

I don't have tv access here at work (where I'm supposedly working :wink: ) and I kept refreshing the NHC page but they hadn't updated it. Sowwy!

The NHC page is very slow to update in general. There's an email list if you're interested. The emails usually arrive long before the page is updated.
