WFOR has a reporter there talking about a "storm surge", but they are also saying that a ton of people are driving around looking at them (the reporters)....which makes me think that the "surge" is localized flooding.

Our local CBS has a reporter there and they've been showing reports once in a while. Seems there was a lot of storm surge there. I know that US1 has been shut down at MM 74 and 58. That's all I know for now. There should be info. on our local sites: http://www.cbs4.com http://www.nbc6.net

Then it receded...when I saw Jade Alexander (CBS 4 reporter) there at about noon or so, there was at least ankle deep water with it still coming in. The road looked really bad though will the seaweed, pieces of wood, etc. that was all over it.

been watching it most the morning and you can get an idea of what is going on there. I sure hope she left if she is in a motor home. The waters seem to be flooding everything pretty good. Wind looks to be blowing pretty hard as well. Hope she makes it through okay.
