humor with the name rita

#1 Postby terstorm1012 » Tue Sep 20, 2005 1:30 pm

I am well aware this is a serious situation, but a coworker said this to me while we were making our Rita predictions:

"Well, revenues were up this year, so I expect the stock to reflect that. While custard prices were hurt by high milk and fuel prices, Italian ice sales made up for it. I expect fourth quarter profits to be up 3-5%. "

I thought it was funny.

From Rod Stewart and the Small Faces:

In the mornin’ don’t say you love me,
’cause I’ll only kick you out of the door
I know your name is rita ’cause your perfume’s smellin’ sweeter
Since when I saw you down on the floor.

Won’t need to much pursuadin’
I don’t mean to sound degradin’,
But with a face like that you got nothin’ to laugh about.
Red lips, hair and fingernails,
I hear you’re a mean old jezebel
Lets go up stairs and read my tarot cards

Stay with me, stay with me
For tonight you’d better stay with me
Stay with me, stay with me
For tonight you’d better stay with me

So, in the mornin’, please don’t say you love me
’cause you know I’ll only kick you out the door
Yeah, I’ll pay your cab fare home, you can even use my best cologne,
Just don’t be here in the mornin’ when I wake up

Stay with me, stay with me
For tonight you’d gonna stay with me
Sit down, get up, get out.

Guess I will play : Secret Lives of the free masons - And then a hurricane!

I made a poem about hurricane rita

Rita, you spin like an egg beater
And you move fast like peter
and you're over 34 hundred on the meter
And you come close like a meet-and-greeter
And you smoke a lot of reefer

lol it rhymed a bit I don't really understand it.

OOo Hurricane poems

Gracious bands... spread scatterd neatly
Elegant rotation wraps convection
So harmless to the untrained eye...
Death in beauty spins and swirls...
Even though your inner beauty
is quiet and peaceful... get caught
within your sight and be ravaged by your eye(s)

A journy of life once far away
drifted west through shears decay
caught within currents steering
NHC warnings are all we're hearing.

A confident path without fact..
The weary wait for the impact.
So far to go on your trek of life...
You're doing it with gracious strife...

Okay... I really need sleep.....

I like that. I shall do a haiku

a bluster in the air comes fast
whoosh
and the man falls down
his wife is sad and cries

Beautiful fall days

Gives way to destructive gale

Rita blows

DONT COME TOO CLOSE DONT COME TOO CLOSE

If you say that and spin on the spot it is like being in a hurricane, and a washing machine. To do the washing machine properly you need to be wet through first, enough to catch a cold.

This must fit in...

Looks like the television show Reba will need to make a Rita hits Houston episode.
