LOL, no I voted too. Out of those choices, I only really pay attention to Storm2K. When a 'cane is threatening my area, I turn to my local CBS out of everyone else, but usually I think S2K does the best. :)

My TV stays tunned to my local ABC station, when they've gone 24/7, otherwise I'm channel changing. But the entire time, no matter what station I'm at, I'm here. :) I find more info here first, before the station reports it.

Good poll, except I don't think you should have included Storm2K in there (great as it is). That gives an obvious result when asked here. I also voted for CNN, but I'd like to see this same poll but with only the major cable news channels where most people will be watching live coverage.

CNN is best national media outlet during the storm and its immediate aftermath.

But then they always start editorializing.

Honestly in general now that we have 3 major news networks (CNN, MSNBC, FNC) I think they all stink period be it wx or something else. It's not about news anymore but just ratings and the hype / sensationalism that helps to get these ratings. I believe that in situations like this it's best to pay attention to local mets (NWS / TV), the NHC and well established messages boards such as Storm2K. Just my opinion.

Voted CNN. Love storm2k.org, but it is not as readily available to everyone. Of course, you would need cable or satelite for CNN too, but more people have that than computers and most people with computers would never think to look for this site.

I wouldn't trust anything broadcast on FOX.
