Rita potential inland flooding nightmare

#1 Postby Portastorm » Thu Sep 22, 2005 6:17 am

For those of us inland who thought we might see tropical storm force winds/conditions but now may not ... anyone see the latest GFS and Euro runs? Dang, Rita stalls out and we could be talking about Biblical rainfall in certain parts of the state and she meanders around until mid next week. This could be a double punch ... the initial landfall affects, then horrible flooding events.
