Severe flooding in Port Arthur

CNN's John King on now from Port Arthur standing 1.4 miles inland and there's water everywhere several foots deep.

HArdly several feet. HE was standing in a parking lot with water below his knees and the areas behind him which were higher were "dry" with no standing water. I think he went find a big puddle to stand in. You coulds still see the grass on the ground above him.

NPR saying that Beaumont flood engineers are enroute to Port Arthur... city officials in PA are reported to be crawling into the attic of the municipal bldg ... that's all the detail I have

H. Rivera (sp?) was also in Port Arthur, but I haven't heard him interviewed or any mention of him since around 11:00 last night. Very curious. Guess we'll know soon about that city.
