The 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season is now up to the letter T (Tammy). This means that, so far, the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season now has (including Tammy) 19 named storms. This ties the second most active hurricane season recorded - 1995, which also had 19 named systems.

As a side note, there are just 2 more names on the list to be used this year - Vince and Wilma - before the Greek alphabet.
