Initial: 16.2N 80.3W 65KT
12 Hour: 17.0N 81.3W 80KT
24 Hour: 17.8N 82.5W 90KT
36 Hour: 18.6N 83.6W 100KT
48 Hour: 19.5N 84.5W 110KT
72 Hour: 21.8N 85.5W 120KT
USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION AS FOLLOWING IS SUBJECT TO LARGE ERROR
96 Hour: 23.6N 84.3W 110KT
120 Hour: 28.0N 79.0W 80KT

How can it be 80 kt with 110-120 mph sustained winds? Do you mean gusts?

with the strong westerlies before landfall i really dont see 110kt.

That 110 kt is still well before it reaches SW FL.

Maybe... however, if it moves quickly, it could still be 100KT (115MPH) at the time of landfall.

But Miami is on the EAST coast...

That's not to say Miami won't experience hurricane force winds... but 100 kt is a BIG stretch.

I meant the strength at landfall on the SOUTHWEST COAST of Florida might be 100KT (115MPH).

Oh... I see. You didn't start the thread. The title makes it sound like he's predicting Miami will see 115 mph winds which is not true.

Excuse me? You conveniently edited your original post. You said that there would be sustained winds of 110-120 mph in Dade County and only changed it after I questioned what you said.

Why don't you knock off these extremist posts of yours? You seem to have some sick need to get off by scaring people on this board and it's really getting annoying. :grr:
