Tornadoes likely approaching the Yucatan coast
Very intense supercells embedded within one of Wilma's spiral bands, which is approaching the coast. I would be SHOCKED if there are not tornadoes occurring as we speak over the open waters of the NW Caribbean. The fact that these are over water is going to change soon, and, as is nearly always the case with landfalling hurricanes, tornadoes will affect the region. Any structure unfortunate enough to be struck by a landfalling waterspout will be left open to the increasingly severe winds associated with the hurricane itself, thereby ensuring that it will no longer be standing when all is said and done (though this is probably already the case without the tornadoes).

Kind of looks like hook echo returns in those red areas in that one band. I would suspect that there are some serious 100 mph + winds in that band.
