#1 Postby MiamiensisWx » Fri Oct 21, 2005 8:36 pm

The latest Wilma update on schools from the Palm Beach County School District site says they will decide tomorrow on whether to keep schools open on Monday despite Wilma. Here is what it says (from the PBC School District site)...

Hurricane Wilma Announcement #2 - 10/21/05 (3:00 PM)

Palm Beach County school officials say a decision will be made tomorrow (Saturday) regarding the operation of schools on Monday. The decision will be based on information supplied by the county Emergency Operations Center's 11:15 a.m. hurricane update from the National Hurricane Center. Parents and employees should monitor the local media; The District's TV station, Channel 19 (Adelphia); this Web site or the hotline (561) 357-7500 or (866) 930-6001 toll free from south county and the Glades.

Stay tuned... this is important for Palm Beach County...
