Rainydaze here....

#1 Postby rainydaze » Mon Oct 24, 2005 3:16 pm

Running on generator....Palm Beach County has alot damage from what I hear and see on local TV. Heard Boca/Delary/Boynton Beach was bad. Many businesses did not board up and the windows blew out. Did a quick run through my neighborhood.....more than 3 houses with caved in roofs. Many carport tops gone....lots of trees down. Palm Beach Intl Airport reported sustained wind 82 gusts to 100. The second half of the storm was ferocious...much worse than the first half. We got the eye for about an hour maybe a little longer.....funny thing is every owner in the neighborhood (myself included) was out walking their dog during the eye...it was a funny sight.

I hope everyone is OK....check back later.
