Photos From Wilma

I was videotaping about 50% of the action during Wilma. I extracted some good photos from the footage.

Monday, October 24

I missed videotaping the first eyewall. I went out into the eye and recorded the action as the back eyewall(the stronger portion) was coming in.

As it was coming in, I could hear the roar of the winds in the distance even though it was relatively calm in my position.

The winds suddenly picked up.

My friend took over as I tested out hurricane force winds.

The pelting rain eventually numbed my back enough that I couldnt feel the various leaves and branches hitting me at over 80 mph.

It was pretty bad out still.

The $500 grill was destroyed. Image

Screen destroyed.

The gate was swinging wildly with each big gust. It was extremely dangerous being around it.

You're nuts. But, I was too when I was around your age. You're very lucky you didn't get hit over the head by debris. Good pics.

Thanks for the pics and thank goodness you were not hurt. Katrina took my grill and did basically the same thing. Smashed onto the concrete.

Fabulous pics, Scorpion! Though I am glad, too, that you weren't injured... and please don't do that again, LOL!

Your neighborhood looks like my aunt's place, near Ocean City Park!
