Largest Hurricanes

we often hear about the costliest,deadliest,most intense hurricanes ect but i was just wondering about the ones that were overweight like Floyd,Gilbert, ect

Super Typhoon Tip would have covered about the western 1/2 of the US (well, the lower 48 states).

i know the super tyhpoons in the WPAC are huge but i'm talking about the Atlantic beacuse this years stroms looked like it took up an entire basin .ex Katrina&rita's cloud mass almost overtook the entire GOM.they were so big they could barely fit

In terms of size, the Great Atlantic Hurricane of 1944 was the largest followed by Carla in 1961. This question was asked earlier this season.
