Bryan Norcross just forecast Gamma path like Wilma...SO FLA.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Bryan Norcross just forecast Gamma path like Wilma...SO FLA.

#1 Postby DAVE440 » Fri Nov 18, 2005 4:06 pm

News just cut in to daily programming. Norcross said weather pattern more complex than Wilma so uncertainy greater but Gamma will be coming in this general direction and could be over SFL by Monday.

Most likely would be a tropical storm but possibly hurricane.
Should move rather quickly once it turns to the NNE so might not
have much time to strenghten and conditions not as condusive to
strenghtening that much.

After it passes S.Fl. should move out quickly and cold front will follow
just as with Wilma.

Timing is key with regards to cold front digging into Florida as to exactly where the storm goes and also may affect intensity.
