Well I am going to make this advisorie thread now just in case they decide to name it at 10 PM EST with the info above from the models.

If they dont do anything about iniciating advisories at 10 PM EST I will leave the thread because then they can do it at 4 AM EST and I am still at bed so anyone can post it at that time. :)

OMG :eek: Incredible. Who would have thought we'd get 4 letters into the greek alphabet on June 1, 2005.

Really nobody (Dr Gray,NOAA and other forecasters) thought that it would get this far in the numbers for the atlantic although they predicted a very active season.

Well aparently no start of advisories at 10 PM EST.But as I said before the thread will stay just in case they decide to iniciate advisories at 4 AM EST.

Wow 982mb pressure. Thats hurricane pressure, thats almost Cat 2 pressure even.

It is not going to get named until data indicates it has enough tropical characteristics. The pressure and the presence of an "eye" mean nothing unless this low becomes warm core.

Please theres alot of data showing this to be tropical. The nhc also said it could be named at any time.

Well I made this advisorie thread thinking that NHC was going to name the system or at 10 PM EST or at 4 AM EST but they didn't. However I will let the thread up as really I think they will named it later today.

Hi, shouldn't we open a new, real advisory thread when nhc will upgrade the system?
