The Evil Greeks

#1 Postby quandary » Wed Nov 30, 2005 11:19 am

Greek storms seem to have a high percentage chance of affecting land even though they have formed so late.

Alpha -- killer in Haiti
Beta -- hit as a cat 2 cane
Gamma -- deaths in Leewards, flooding in Honduras
Delta -- big time storm in Canaries.

Let this be a sign to the NHC never to have a season of only Greek storms. Interestingly enough, the first 5 storms of 2005 also hit land. Epsilon hasn't done anything yet, but it might affect Bermuda. Hopefully, it just becomes a weak cane and just goes away.
