Hi Everyone,
Storm2K members who were here last year will probably remember my Hurricane 2004 Website I created in the wake of the 4 hurricanes that struck Florida. Living in the Orlando area of Central Florida, I was directly impacted by 3 storms (Charley, Frances & Jeanne). I took many pictures of the damage around my local area and decided to make a website of my experiences. This year's historic Hurricane Season has prompted me to expand my site and include the 2005 Hurricane Season. The 2005 portion of the site is done in the same format as last years', with many satellite photos as well as media photos of storm aftermath.
While the 2004 portion of the site is nearly complete, the 2005 part is a work in progress. This is such a monumental task to catalog all the images and put things together into some semblence of chronology. I have completed the 2005 season up through Katrina (actually I am still finishing the HUGE Katrina portion of the site). There are literally hundreds of photos I am uploading and formatting onto the site to present a memorial of this unprecedented season.
I invite everyone to check out my site and look forward to any comments or suggestions to improve the site. You will have to keep checking back, as I work on the site in all my spare time. The Rita and Wilma pages will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
Check it out and I hope you enjoy!
