It's supposed to give a better idea of the ocean floor as far as storm surge is concerned. I live just outside of the surge area :D . But I'm close enough to take a big hit from the winds if one does come :( . Hopefully
if one comes here, I'll be on the south side of it.

Good morning Debbie,
Do you know where we can get access to this new info? That sounds very interesting. It's hard to find any info on exactly how much above sea level you are . Even if you ask the Insurance companies they will just give you general info, as far as if you are in a evac zone or not. Maybe local emergency managment has that info, but I would sure love to find out.

At least you are out of the surge area!!! :D I presume you are talking the highest surge expected with a CAT5 storm when you say that??? We all hope you and each one of us is on the "clean" side of a storm when it comes!!! :D
