CAN YOU SAY RAIN!!

#1 Postby Toni - 574 » Sun Jun 29, 2003 7:19 am

Boy, did we get a lot of rain in the ST.Pete area last night. Knocked me off the internet . Which was probably good anyway as my body was stuck in the sitting position LOL.

Anyway, the system did not look all that great early this AM, but looks like convection is starting to refire again. Sheer is having it's way with the system right now, and If it doesn't let up the system will remain just a big blob blow up :o . Alot of people think that today will be a turning point one way or the other, and let's face it guys this can't go on forever, something has to fire or give sooner or latter.
This area reminds me of Gordon and Helene I believe in Sept. of 2000. Intensity wise this area has a Loooog way to go, but I am talking about the lopsided apperance it's like the west side is sliced off. Just doesn't have that nice round look, keeps hanging on the the oblong look. Can we call it a stream line tropical system? Maybe it's drank too much slimfast! LOL
