Great pics. Thanks for posting. The storm really looked like it could have gotten itself together if not for the hostile conditions. With that said, it still held its own very well considering!

since zeta was the last storm of the season and it ended with z, it will appear that we made it all the way though the greek alphabet this year.

Zeta Page on Website

#18 Postby recmod » Fri Jan 20, 2006 2:58 pm

I have been working on my Hurricane 2004/2005 website. I was doing the 2005 storms in order and have gotten up to Rita, but since some were asking for more satellite photos of Zeta, I decided to put together the Zeta page. You can view satellite stills as well as a few short satellite loops of this historic tropical system. Here is the link to the Zeta page:

Tropical Storm Zeta

After several long months of hard work, I have finally completed the Katrina pages. This has turned into an epic task consisting of literally hundreds of aftermath photos as well as satellite and radar loops. I even put together a timeline of events for this most devastating natural disaster in US history. I can only hope I was able to convey some of the emotion of those late August / early September days when true desperation had set in on the Gulf coast region. Here is the link to view the Katrina pages:

Hurricane Katrina

As I stated above, I am just now working on Rita. I have all the satellite photos and loops uploaded and am working on putting together the media photos section. If you want to check out this work in progress:

Hurricane Rita

Hope I haven't bored anyone...If there are any suggestions for the site, I always encourage comments.

Enjoy!
Lou

I think no one really fully expected that from that mess :uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow: a tropical system would develop, and less in such a short period of time.
