Vortex data message this morning

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Jun 30, 2003 8:21 am

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/MIAREPNT2.shtml?

52kts at flight level ,1002 mbs and closed circulation are the important findings of the mission this morning.

Surely they will increase the winds at the 11 AM advisory but not so far as a hurricane.

That seems to be a pretty significant pressure drop. It's a good thing that it doesn't have much time before landfall to really get wrapped up!

Once Bill comes inland things look to be quiet for awhile. Fortunately Bill shouldn't get much stronger. Cheers!!
