Winter storms rule!!!!
Check out the wind gust we got in Bermuda today at 7am Feb. 26th.
1,059mph (typo??? I dunno, you should have been here!!)
This is why all our houses are made out of concrete.

Yup, a simple typo. Below are the raw METAR observations...

METAR TXKF 261055Z 23019KT 9SM SCT032 BKN100 BKN300 15/10 A3002 RMK SLP165
METAR TXKF 261155Z 230920KT 9SM SCT035 BKN100 OVC300 16/08 A3001 RMK SLP163
METAR TXKF 261255Z 23019KT 9SM SCT032 BKN140 OVC300 17/09 A2998 RMK SLP152

Looks like they mistakenly typed 920KT instead of just 20KT.
