What about 9N 44W ?

This is from the 8:05 TWD

"TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 41W/42W S OF 16N MOVING W 5-10 KT. THE WAVE HAS BEEN REPOSITIONED SLIGHTLY FARTHER W THAN ITS CURRENT MOTION WOULD ALLOW...AND THIS IS BASED ON A WELL-DEFINED CYCLONIC CIRCULATION CENTERED NEAR 9N43W."

well you know us Puertorricans are always looking east :?

Low latitude systems might be the norm this season.

If I were in the islands from Puerto Rico to Trinidad & Tobago, I'd definitely keep an eye on it. This hurricane season has been forecast by many experts to be a wild one, and it's trying it's best to fulfill those predictions.

It has gained some convection. It is something to keep an eye on.

2:05 TWD

"TROPICAL WAVE ALONG 43W S OF 16N MOVING W 15-20 KT. THE WAVE HAS BECOME BETTER DEFINED TODAY IN SATELLITE IMAGERY AND CONVECTION HAS INCREASED OVER THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS WITH SCATTERED MODERATE ACTIVITY NOW FROM 9N-11N BETWEEN 43W-47W AND FROM 7N-10N BETWEEN 47W-53W. VISIBLE SATELLITE IMAGERY REVEALS A SW/NE ELONGATED AREA OF LOWER LEVEL CYCLONIC TURNING AND THE CURRENT POSITION IS TOWARD THE E END OF THIS ENVELOPE. "
