Finally back in New Orleans!!

#1 Postby Jam151 » Mon Jun 26, 2006 1:25 am

I'm finally back home in New Orleans. I just wanted to touch base with everyone because i'm been gone for quite a while. I've really missed this forum and look forward to watching the hurricanes with you again this year. Normally in the past I just stayed in the background and looked at everyone's thoughtful insight. During the storm all I had was my laptop and you guys. Just wanted to let you guys know that i'm back and safe.

PS: sorry for making this a whole new thread, just want to let people that may have wanted to know that I am okay. :P :) :P :) :D :D :D :D

I thank all of you, it feels good to be home. Anyone have any idea why my thread was changed. My thread was different last night and now its changed in its wording. Just wondering if thats the work of some trolls, thats the only thing I can think of. :)

You're tellin' me that someone changed YOUR posts? Sounds pretty scandalous. How is that possible? Regardless, welcome back home.

If I remember correctly, it looks like the same title I saw late last night. What do you remember it being, Jam151?

Ok, thanks. I was pretty sure, but he said it was changed. I wonder what he's talking about.

No it wasn't the title, just some small changes that i found inside the post. Last night i said that all I had during the storm was you guys, Naso, and weather.com. Now it doesn't say that anymore, its like someone didn't like what i said and decided to change it up a little bit. I mean its really no big deal, but what if its a troll on here changes my words around, they could make me say something dumb by changing everything around. I just think its bad, i'll try to ignore it though and get back to the storm off the east coast. :cheesy: :ggreen: :cheesy:

But I'm glad you're both home and safe, above all else!

Oh now I know what's going on. I know everything now. It wasn't a troll because normal users can't change other people's posts. However, Mods and Admins can change normal users posts. That part was removed for a reason. I'm not going further then that though.

I guess you could be right, but i really don't think the mods would do something like that, especially without private messaging me first and letting me know that they are doing that. Nah you gotta be wrong, they wouldn't do that. Like I said earlier though lets just drop this topic because if it is a troll then we are just adding fuel to his or her fire if you know what i mean. We have a system off the east coast lets discuss that. :) :)
