Why is Claudette´s Track Uncertain? according to accuwx

The future path of Claudette is still somewhat uncertain. The storm will most likely be caught underneath a strong upper-level ridge over North Texas and head mainly westward toward northern Mexico or South Texas. However, there is a weakness in this ridge to the north, and there is a slight chance Claudette will move toward this weakness and end up somewhere between eastern Louisiana and western Florida.

Local met. here said that if Claudette gets caught between the ridge over Texas or the ridge over Florida then it could move her North. He was not too confident about that happening, but it was something to take note of.

Bastardi and Lundberg noted today on the paysite that every hour that passes lessens the chance. We knew that. But the possibility, though dim, still exists. I still like my call from yesterday morning. I never crawfished but I was ready 2 hours later (see Speckled Trout post) to throw in the towel. And what did they tell us in school? Stick with your first instinct? LMAO
