P-T
I am the lone vote for P or higher (so far). We could easily see Danny in 24hrs and Erika next week, maybe even the "F" storm before the end of July or in very early August. We're well on our way to 16-18 storms for the season. But, as my signature says, ignore the numbers - focus on the steering patterns. As we have seen so far, there appears to be a general steering flow through the Caribbean to the GOM, Florida, or the southeast U.S. and NOT out to sea.

Hey Wxman57!! Nice to see you!
You were right about TD#5 when it came out of Africa last week. It was on 15N, and also it went to the northwest into the north-central Atlantic as you said. Now we have a TD well to the northeast of the Islands. I was confused because the convection went down into 8N when it was off African coast.
Have to give honor to the one who deserve it.
Congratulation

OK wxman, I'll be the first to bite on your comment. Where do you think Erika and Fabian will form? Take a look at 1933 are you suggesting something simular?

I agree with Marshall. I think we will hit the "O" storm. It is quite possible we could get to P or Q or R or :o

I'm going to stick with my original Tropical Atlantic Season Forecast ... 13 storms ... the "M" storm ... (I post this tediously now)...
We're getting ready to head into what should become a favorable "MJO" phase and I can't help to think Wxman57 could be right on the money with the possibly of Erika and Fabian before July is over with ...
